A14 Improvement Scheme suggested Cycling route Brampton

Disclaimer: This route is a suggestion based on existing rights of way. It has not been tested.

Approximate length of route 23km. 

Start: Brampton Hut Services

Head south exiting the services along new public right of way west of the A1

Turn west to follow a trackway underneath the A14 and follow grass bridleway (28/19) heading south

At Brampton Road, turn west towards Brampton Woods following the National Cycle Network (route 12) towards Grafham

At the junction with Church Hill turn left to follow the National Cycle Network route towards Grafham Water, continue to follow the cycle route around Grafham Water until Plummer Park

Continue through the park following the circular cycle track around Grafham Water (c10km) rejoining NCN route 12 at Grafham and return to Brampton Road

Continue along the bridge over the A14 and at board 23 Lenton Lakes turn left to follow a permissive right of way north 

At West End turn left to continue parallel to the A14 and follow the cycle path over the A14 and back to Brampton Hut Services
