This website aims to engage and encourage residents and visitors to make more of the valuable local space and visit parks they may not have previously explored.
Cambs Open Space website presents the top 200 parks in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, the website provides links to external website for organisations that manage and run the parks. Some of this information provided is third party content. All details are provided in good faith and Living Sport cannot take any responsibility for the information on parks, groups or the events delivered across the county. If you find anything incorrect or missing, please let us know by filling out the 'tell us something is missing form' or emailing cambsopenspace@livingsport.co.uk
How to use the website
Cambs Open Space will signpost users to outdoor spaces to undertake physical activity to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing along with inviting spaces to socialise and enjoy with friends and family.
There are two main functions to assist users to navigate the website:

- Search for the following:
- Parks - search for a range of parks in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
- Activities - search for a range of activities such as cycling, football, volunteering etc
- Events - search for a range of event such as ParkRun, Nature walks etc
- Available on the parks page
- The interactive map allows users to explore parks within the county
- Searches can be filtered to find parks that offer certain activities, facilities, features etc

About the Funders
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Future Parks Accelerator (CPFP) is a partnership project between seven local authorities in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and the Local Nature Partnership. The project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the National Trust and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
CPFP Team have partnered with Peterborough City Council and funding from the Towns Fund Grant, provided by MHCLG to part fund the development of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Parks Map Website.
From the 1st April CPFP Team and Peterborough City Council have partnered with the charity Living Sport to take over the content management of the Cambs Open Space website.
