A14 Improvement Scheme suggested Cycling route Northstowe

Disclaimer: This route is a suggestion based on existing rights of way. It has not been tested.

Approximate length of route 20.3km. 

Start: Huntingdon Road, Board 1

Head east along Huntingdon Road, turn left onto Girton Road, (National Cycle Network Route 24) until Gatehouse Road, north of Girton

Turn right on Gatehouse Road. At the Guided Busway, turn left to follow the Busway route towards St Ives (National Cycle Network Route 51) until Station Road, Longstanton

Turn left on Station Road towards Longstanton, follow the road through to the end of the High Street.

Turn right onto School Lane

Turn left onto Hatton's Road, cross the roundabout.

At the junction with the A1307 follow the cycle path to the left past Board 5 to join the public right of way towards Cambridge and board 4

Cross the junction at Dry Drayton Road and continue to follow the public right of way towards Cambridge past boards 16 and 3

At Girton, follow the public footpath through the play area towards Weavers field and turn right to rejoin the Girton Road (National Cycle Network Route 24)
