A14 Improvement Scheme suggested Cycling route Bar Hill to Madingley

Approximate length of route 13.7km. 

Start: Bar Hill superstore

At the roundabout, take the left turn to follow Saxon Way around Bar Hill 

Take the first right turn past Field View following the public right of way towards Dry Drayton

Join the High Street, Dry Drayton and continue through the village

At the junction turn left to follow Park Street

Turn right to go past the church along Madingley Road

At the junction with the Avenue, turn right into Madingley

At the junction turn left along Cambridge Road and follow this road over the A428

Just before the American Cemetery, take a left turn along a public right of way north, crossing back over the A428 

follow the track round to the left to board 2 and the A1307

Turn left following the public right of way alongside the A1307 until the roundabout, take the second exit to continue along the A1307 over the old Huntingdon Road

At the roundabout, take the second exit and follow the public right of way along the road past board 4

at the Bar Hill junction, take the public right of way to the pedestrian bridge over the A14 and continue into Bar Hill, rejoining Saxon Way
