Stanley Park

In early 2022 Stanley Recreation Ground was renamed as Stanley Park by Peterborough City Council. The lovely city centre park, located off Broadway, has had significant investment from the Council, in recreational facilities (playground, outdoor gym and football goals), infrastructure (paths and fences) and safety (lighting and CCTV), so that it can become a safer and more family-friendly place for leisure, sport and fitness.

Until the 1970s, Stanley Park was Peterborough's main cricket ground, before the cricket club relocated to Bretton.
