Between the Nuffield (Evelyn) Hospital and the government offices site. Hobson's Brook runs along the east side.
Empty Common Community Garden is a large community garden based on permaculture principles with many vegetable and flower beds, fruit trees, wildlife areas, and space for events.

Description
It is managed by a group of volunteers with support from Transition Cambridge, and runs gardening sessions every Sunday morning, which are open to all.
