Byron's Pool

Byron's Pool

Named after Lord Byron who frequented the weir pool in the area, the site has been a reserve since 2005.

The area is densely treed with a walk through the woods and alongside the river.

The tree stock is slowly being returned to a more historically original state with the removal of non-native species, the habitat of the ponds are being managed for the benefit of frogs, fish and aquatic birds.
