Youth Rangers is a group for secondary-aged young people (11-17 years) keen to make a positive difference to their local environment. We meet throughout the year at various Cambridgeshire nature reserves and would love to welcome you to our group.
For this session, we will be working at Woodwalton Fen NNR. This beautiful reserve is internationally important for wildlife and provides a refuge for thousands of species of fen animals and plants, many of which are found nowhere else in the country. Details TBC. You do not need any experience to attend.
Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather - layers and waterproofs if needed. Long sleeves and trousers are recommended. Please wear sensible boots or wellies.
These sessions are designed for participants to attend independently, so once an adult has signed the young person in, they can be left in our care until collection.
We are asking all young people to pre-book their place for this session to enable us to properly prepare for the morning.
On booking you will receive an email with further guidance but if you have any further questions please do get in touch with Community and Education Officer Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A photographer may be present at the event and taking pictures for Wildlife Trust BCN use so please let us know if you'd rather not be included. Under 18s will have an adult asked to complete a media consent form.
Please see the website for full event terms and conditions.
