Christmas Tail' activity trail for dogs and their owners at Paxton Pits

Come along to Paxton Pits to follow our festive 'A Christmas Tails' wildlife trail with your dog, before taking your dog to see Father Christmas. Here your dog will receive a Paxton Pits Super Dog certificate and present.

AM and PM sessions will run for two hours - drop-in anytime between these two times to take part. We are happy to take pictures on your phone/camera of you and your dogs with Father Christmas.

MORNING SESSION You will be able to start the fun interactive, festive trail, anytime from 10:00. You will be able to meet Father Christmas at the end of the trail, anytime between 10:00 and 12 noon.

AFTERNOON SESSION You will be able to start the fun interactive, festive trail, anytime from 13:00. You will be able to meet Father Christmas at the end of the trail, anytime between 13:00 and 15:00.

There will be treats provided at the start of the trail. Please be especially aware if your dog has allergies and feel free to bring a suitable alternative. If your dog does have special dietary requirements, please make us aware by completing the booking section about this on Eventbrite.

Wear long trousers, sensible shoes, cosy layers and raincoats as festive as you like.

Please book a ticket for everyone who will attending, including adults.

Please park in the main car park opposite the Visitors Centre and please be aware the road outside the education centre is used all day by haulage lorries accessing the quarry so please keep children and dogs close by you on the way to and from the car park.
