Tree planting (Waresley and Gransden Woods)

Tree Planting

There is an ongoing programme of habitat management work in Waresley and Gransden Woods which recently has involved the dramatic removal of large areas of trees. Some of this is to do with ash die-back disease, and in other areas we are felling to create greater structural diversity. We are re-planting with native species and trialling different techniques to protect the saplings. Come along to learn more about the management of this wood, and contribute to its regeneration by planting some trees.

This activity is for adults only (booking is essential)

The activity is free.
