Tree Identification Workshop - Trees in Flowers

The tree identification workshops are structured to help you learn how to confidently identify the features of common British tree species that you will encounter on your local walks. Throughout the year the workshops focus on different parts of the trees' anatomy, giving you the opportunity to gain an intimate knowledge of their character.

Provided with resources you can use to record your new knowledge, and with handy reminders of what to look out for when out exploring on your own, the workshops are designed to give you the confidence to practice and learn independently. Dr Jade Gunnell will teach you what to look out for to identify common British species with certainty, but will also teach you the basics of plant identification, helping you to develop skills that you can apply to other trees and plants.
