Sit and chat in nature (Gamlingay Wood)

Nature

This activity is part of a series of outdoor opportunities to enjoy nature in our West Cambs 100s nature reserves, with a focus on sitting for a sociable chat, rather than walking.

With special permission to access parking close to the wood, we'll stroll a short distance to find a nice spot on a path near the bluebells to set up picnic blankets or camping chairs. We'll soak up the wildlife vibes, perhaps identify some spring flowers, or listen to bird song, and enjoy a sociable chat, a cuppa, and a biscuit together.

These sessions are aimed at adults of all ages, we'd love an inter-generational mix! Parents or carers with babies in a sling are welcome, but please note, paths are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. We are especially keen to offer places on these free activities to local people.
