Monthly Meander - Butterflies

Butterfly (1)

Our Monthly Meanders at Trumpington Meadows are regular themed guided walks. Come every month - with the change of the seasons there is always something exciting to see!

Trumpington Meadows is home to 28 species of butterfly, join us for this walk to see how many we can spot. July is a good time to look for the elusive white-letter hairstreak.

Please note, this walk will start at the later than usual time of 11am, to ensure we see a good number of butterflies. Please bring a lunch if you'd like to, we'll provide some light refreshments.

The walk will cover around 2 to 3 miles, and will be mainly on gravel paths or grass paths. Bring binoculars if you have them, we will have a couple of pairs to borrow.
