LRNSC Cambridge area roller skiing
On the five session course you'll learn the basics of classic technique [diagonal stride] on the first three sessions then skating will be introduced for the last two, focusing on balance and co-ordination.
If you're a novice roller ski and want to improve your specific skills you can book 'any 5 sessions tuition only' and choose which ones you'd like to attend. You will need to hire equipment if you don't have your own.
The group may include those who have done a previous roller ski session or have cross country skied on snow, as well as those with no previous experience.
10.00-12.00 Intermediates coaching - Classic technique
For intermediates the session will be tailored to participants' needs and cover the full technique range. The aim will be to help you ski better, more efficiently and with less (wasted) effort. This is for competent roller skiers who want to refresh/refine/improve their skills. Limited equipment hire is available - please book as soon as possible so we can meet your needs.
1300-1500 optional Busway roller ski tour
An informal, social/training ski for Club members & free of charge but please register so we know you're staying on for this or just coming for the tour.
Skiers must be able to ski safely and competently without a Snowsport England coach present and have their own equipment. Direction, distance and a coffee stop are agreed by the participants.
Advance booking essential. Booking will close at 6pm on Thursday 21 March or when places have been filled.

Group size for coached sessions: maximum 8, minimum 2 [priority will be given to LRNSC members]
NB Please bring your own drink and food as the nearest shop is the Coop in Longstanton approx. 5 miles away.

If you book 'tuition only' remember to order equipment as well. Please bring your own gloves and cycle helmet or tell us if you don't have a helmet.

- Single session tuition only £16.00.
LRNSC members - intermediates
- Any 5 intermediate sessions tuition only £65.00 in Cambridge area or west London .*
- Single session tuition only £16.00
*NB You save money by booking the course or 'any 5' beginner or intermediate sessions compared to booking 5 single sessions. If you choose these option you are booked in for this session but must confirm attendance for subsequent sessions for insurance purposes and so coaches know who will be coming.
Non members
- Guest one-off session tuition only £30.00
Equipment hire [roller skis, boots, poles, protective kit] - £10.00 per session
