Ely Wildlife Watch

Bunny in wildlife (1)

We will listen out for bird song and nests which will help us to name some of the species. The walk will be followed by some bird related activites and games.

We absolutely love wildlife - and bet you do too! Wildlife Watch is here for kids that can't get enough of exploring the great outdoors or those desperate to find out a bit more about the weird and wonderful creatures we share our world with. Wildlife Watch is the junior branch of The Wildlife Trusts and the UK's leading environmental action club for children and families.

Each session will have a different theme to learn about, activities to try and crafts to make. This group is designed for Primary-aged children (7-11). Younger children are welcome to attend but may not get the most out of the event. Accompanying siblings aged under 3 may attend for free. Please book a ticket for every one attending, including adults, to ensure we manage numbers on site.

This session will be exploring Ely Country Park with a guided bird walk using binoculars and ID charts to get to know some of the birds using the site. We will listen out for bird song and nests which will help us to name some of the species. The walk will be followed by some bird related activities and games.
