Great Fen Wildlife Watch - Glory of Summer

Kids exploring

We absolutely love wildlife - and bet you do too! Wildlife Watch is here for kids that can't get enough of exploring the great outdoors or those desperate to find out a bit more about the weird and wonderful creatures we share our world with. Wildlife Watch is the junior branch of The Wildlife Trusts and the UK's leading environmental action club for children and families.

Each session will have a different theme to learn about, activities to try and crafts to make. This group is designed for Primary-aged children (7-11). Younger children are welcome to attend but may not get the most out of the event. Accompanying siblings aged under 3 may attend for free. Please book a ticket for every one attending, including adults, to ensure we manage numbers on site.

The sessions will be outside so please come dressed appropriately. You don't have to be a Wildlife Watch member to attend, everyone is welcome. However, if you are members you will benefit from the discount attendance fee and your activities can count towards your awards!

A drink and snack are included. Why not bring a packed lunch and stay longer?

This Month - Glory of Summer. We're walking at Woodwalton Fen NNR, an incredible site of special scientific interest (SSSI). We'll be looking for butterflies, bees, dragonflies and other exciting summer insects, and planting flowers to benefit them to take home. You can also go inside historic Rothschild Bungalow!

A photographer may be present at the event and taking pictures for Wildlife Trust BCN use so please let us know if you'd rather not be included. Any children photographed will be asked for a signed media consent form from their responsible adult.
