Good to Grow Day 2023!

Gardening

CoFarm volunteers (currently adults only) get involved in all aspects of growing vegetables and fruit sustainably under the supervision of experienced horticulturists. Tasks may involve sowing seeds; transplanting seedlings; weeding; preparing vegetable beds and watering crops. Later in the season volunteers harvest all of the crops and prepare them for distribution to Cambridge's community food hubs.

We run regular volunteer co-farming sessions throughout the year on most Sundays and evening sessions on weekdays as the days lengthen. For our Good to Grow Day, we'll be running two regular volunteering sessions on Sunday 23rd April - AM and PM - where co-farmers will be preparing veg beds; caring for our newly planted heritage orchard trees; transplanting and watering seedlings, weeding etc.

Please note that volunteer co-farming places are strictly by appointment only as volunteer numbers are capped, by visiting our booking page at www.cofarm.co/booking.

2 x 3 hr sessions: 10am to 1pm; and 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
