King Edward Macclesfield Concert Band will perform a lively concert of easy-listening classics from the musicals, film themes, popular jazz and swing numbers, as well as tunes from the well-known classic concert band repertoire at Ely Bandstand as part of their 2022 tour. A toe-tapping treat for all! Free entry.
Conducted by Julia Harding, Julia assisted in founding the KEMS Concert Band. She is a manager for a Music Service in Staffordshire, has a private teaching practice at her home in Macclesfield and conducts the Newcastle-Under-Lyme String Orchestra. She has appeared with the Beckford String Quartet, the KEMS Macclesfield Band and Newcastle Strings as a soloist.
