Easter Family Fun Day


A day of fun and games in the garden, an Easter Egg hunt, with lots of creative and nature activities for children and adults alike!

Saturday April 1st | 10am to 2pm

Drop-in with a carousel of various nature and creative activities for all ages, including sowing seeds, making seed-bombs and , a nature trail and Easter egg hunt, poetry, free books and loads more!

Easter Egg Hunt & Nature Trail: Join artist and storyteller Rose Craft to complete an Easter Nature Trail with little tests and tasks around the garden and collect your Easter egg once completed!


Peterborough Presents: creative session with artists from Peterborough Presents.

Laura Aldington: Photographic arts & crafts workshop, suitable for adults and children. Create photographic prints from natural objects, and help make a flag using photograms!

Kelly Thomas: Arts & Crafts

Pop Up Park: Nene Park will be bring their outdoor play activities to the garden.

Ann Bellamy: Upcycling decorative arts and crafts

+ other drop-in activities and play equipment in the garden


Froglife: try some Pond Dipping and learn all about our wildlife area.

Together for our Planet : Eco and Gardening activities for you to learn about and support nature, including sowing seeds, making seed bombs and more!

Flourish Peterborough / Peterborough Food Strategy: have a chat about about what food means to you, with interactive sessions to get you thinking about the future of food.

Fitness Rush: We will have a Fitness bus where you can have a go on gym equipment and speak with fitness trainers about keepiong fit!

Graham & Eurovia: Will be launching the new Car Park and Drainage at the garden. The new drainage system will prevent flooding in the car park but will also store this water underground so we can pump this out when needed during droughts, as well as make the site more accessible for those with mobility needs.

Peterborough Reads: will have lots of brand new books available to give away on the day!

Plant Sale: There will also be plants, seedlings, planters, woodchip for sale - cash only

Refreshments: Cake, Coffee, Tea, Herbal Teas and Snacks. Cash only

All ages are welcome to join in.

Drop in from 10am to 2pm

Venue: WestRaven Community Garden, Hartwell Way, Peterborough, PE3 7NB

Parking: visitors can park at Ravensthorpe Primary School, and walk round to the garden.
