Dragons of the Great Fen

Dragonfly

Join us for this gentle walk round the Great Fen Dragonfly trail, with the prospect of large numbers of Migrant Hawker, Common and Ruddy Darter feeding over the damp cattle-grazed fields.  With a bit of luck we may see the aerial prowess of a Hobby preying on the dragonflies. And there’s always the chance of spotting a Corn Bunting on a wire or post, or even a Stonechat or other migrant moving through at the start of the autumn migration.
