Build a bird box in the Great Fen

Celebrating National Nestbox Week, join us at the Countryside Centre in Ramsey Heights. Each family ticket includes the kit to make one bird box. If two children would like to make a box each, please book two family tickets. There will be other bird-themed crafts to make too and the opportunity to explore the beautiful nature reserve looking for the birds that call it home.

Weather permitting, we will work outside due to the noise created with hammering so please dress appropriately. Our classroom is available as a backup if it rains.

Join us either on Saturday 17th or Monday 19th February to build your bird box and enjoy the crafts. Then stay as long as you like to continue exploring, bug hunting and den building after the activities close. Refreshments are also available for a small donation or you may bring your own drinks and snacks. Why not bring a packed lunch and stay all day?
