Barford Road Pocket Parkrun

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

It is held every Saturday at 9:00am at Barford Road Pocket Park.

It's free to participate, but please register before you first come along at  https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/

Pocket parkrun is a two lap course that starts on the path leading from Ernulf Academy / One Leisure to the Willow Bridge. The course starts on wide tarmac paths, before crossing the grass meadows alongside the Willow Bridge. We then run along a forest trail on along the banks of the River Ouse, before finishing on another tarmac path. Portions of the course are on grass meadows, riverbanks and forest trails and can be muddy at times. If you have them, we recommend running in trail shoes. Due to a narrow bridge on the course this parkrun is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in One Leisure café - please come and join us!
