Work Experience Taster

would like to find out more about how Nene Park is run, and are interested in a career linked to the environment, tourism, events or parks and greenspace.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience, develop your confidence, learn new skills and meet new people. Activities will include outdoor conservation and planting activities, planning a marketing campaign, Park Ranger site checks and a design activity. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

The two days are FREE to attend but booking is essential. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund travel expenses and free lunch is available for young people that are currently eligible for free school meals.

Please note - these workshops are available for young people that have not attended Work Experience Taster Days before. New opportunities for previous attendees will be available in 2024.
